As a competitive bodybuilder the performance enhancing drugs we take can come with some serious health side effects. Here is a list of supplements I use to help counter balance everything. When not using the supplements my HDL is low my LDL is high my liver enzymes are elevated. Ejection fraction improves with some of these as well as my glucose and pretty much my entire metabolic panel. I’m very interested in carbon 60 as I just heard about it the other day so I plan to do extensive research.

This is what I currently take:

This post was a huge interest to me  i am an athlete  (more on the cardio side, running , cycling and some cross fit type exercise but pretty intense 7 days a week. i tend to high cholesterol (LDL ) but also have high hdl  low triglycerides but super high lpa which is a CVD marker that is finally making the news due to Bob Harpers HA. event.  I am 46 and switched to gluten free 6 years ago due to celiac diagnosis  i do have to say my skin is pretty flawless for my age my energy / stamina is excellent and inflammatory markers are very low    i eat moderate carb protein fat with one vegan meal a day usually lunch and my dail treat is 3 ox of 80 percent dark chocolate.   as an athlete i understand the need to supplement though i dont take any pre workouts etc  exercise in general is inflammatory   i reviewed your list which is very large and in a way poissiblly bordering on pro inflammatory   high repeated doses of anti oxidants can become prooxidant eso vit a c e and even reverseterol

i think you could simplfy a bit  you seem to be taking supplements that have similiar effects/purposes

i also think l glutamine and methly b complex is important to add for immune function, and gut health and muscle recovery as an athlete

Turmeric 900mg(95% curcuminoids) 2x/day(vitaminshoppe)  _I take tumeric with bipoerine 2 caps a day

Magnesium Glycinate 400mg(KAL) 400mg 3x/day ( i take 2 caps MG but also add 2 caps of Mag Taurate (ecoliogical formula)
Fish oil 3G 2x daily(Nutrabio) ( only take pharmepa EPA 2 caps a day if im not eating fatty fish that day)

Vitamin C complex 9 i take one 1000 mg a day plus 3000 l lysine  (for LDL )
VitE complex 400iu/day(solgar) Ive read you need ti be careful supplementing Vit e as studies show those supplementing with vit e show higher CVD risk
D3 10,000iu day(vitaminshoppe) ( think 5000 iu is enough  i did the same amount as you and ended up with excessively high vit d so have stopped for a few months then will only take 5000 iu twice a week  it is fat soluble so can build up levels in blood like iron
VitK(MK-7) 90mcg/day(jarrow) i take the same for moving calcium from arteries to bones

Ubiquinol 200mg/day(jarrow) i take as well for cholesterol and inflammation

Baby aspirin/day  take once of twice a week to keep inflammation low
Citrus Bergamot 500mg/day(jarrow) take the same for LDL
Nattokinase 2,000fu/day(Doctors Best) take Boulouke instead two caps a day to keep fibrin low

Pycnogenol 100mg 1-2x/day(vitamineshoppe) i take one a day
Trans-Resvertrol 250mg 2x/day(Nutrabio) i take one like once or twice a week if im not having wine

Bromelain(500mg-2400 GDU/g) 2x/day(Now)  i take it as a part of a digestive enzyme
Allicin 650mg/day(vitaminshoppe) i eat raw garlic
NAC 600mg 2x/day(vitaminshoppe) take one once a day
Laxtoferrin 250mg/day(jarrow)  mix in with yogurt and protein powder
Ip-6(3.2g ip6/880mg inositol) (Cell Forte) i take this to keep iron low but iron is low now so stopped  i do know it is a good antiflammatory and anti carcinogenic

VSL#3 probiotic 1/day - i take l reuteri two caps once a day

A big reason for the majority of those supplements is to keep my blood as thin as possible. I take testosterone and one of the side effects is high hemoglobin. I donate a few times a year but donating to frequently depletes ferritin. The only risk of high hemoglobin from testosterone is risk of clotting so the supplements keep my blood then.

I'd forget the Baby aspirin/day and just take Nattokinase or other Systemic Enzymes....

Nattokinase can even be purchased online in bulk powder.

They lower inflammation, reduce pain, speed healing.. eat blood clots and scar tissue.

That is unless you have a "Aspirin Deficiency".

i too have to be aware of blood clotting issues as my high lpa can lead to abnormal blood clotting.increased fibrin i do not take aspirin and like the responder below taking both aspirin and nattokinease is redundant.  i have done exhuastive reasearch on the proteloytic enzymes and have found lumbrokinease, specifically the brand boulouke, to be the most effective in reducing blood clotting. platrlet aggregation   serrapetase is best for reducing scar tissue and for muscle recovery, nattokinease does have blood clotting benefit but not as much as lumbrokinease.  i have gone down the path of oversupplementing in reaction. freaking out about my cholesterol situation and when i simplified my regime i actually have had better lab markers.  i think you and i have the same goals, reducing inflammtion, reducing reactive oxygen species and reducing blood clotting  oh btw re the low ferritin, ip6 does deplete iron so you may want to cut back a bit  on that

if i could suggest an ideal supplement protocol that is more simplified to achieve your goals

it would be:

immediate release niacin, 1500 mg after dinner

bulouke, 2 capsules before breakfast

vsl plus one capsule of boulouke before breakfast

lipogold one capsule before breakfast

magnesium  whenever you take it

pycogonel before breakfast

vit c 1-2 grams plus 3 grams l lysine

2000 mg fish oil daily

tumeric daily

vit d 3 5000iu every other day

methyl b comples plus tmg once a day

vit k 2 once a day

co q 10 once a day

one cap reservertrol three times a week

2000mg l glutamine daily

ip 6  gold every other day

the lactoferrin is great an an immune stimulant and for ferritin

Amy:  Thanks for your info about lumbrokinease.

I have taken both serrapetase and nattokinease often. Plus formulas of others like "Vitalzym".

At age 59 I tore both bicep tendons deadlifting 500 lbs, and have the photos to prove it for the doubters.

After 3 years the Andrews Sports Center did not have an answer and I was down to one arm and in a lot of pain.

It was not torn bad enough to operate, they said.

A smart friend said he used Vitalzym, which is used as a pain killer in Europe, to heal a torn tendon after a motorcycle wreck.

I tried it in high doses and in 90 days healed both biceps 90%... 5 years ago.

Since then I've used this for a shoulder, plus a blood clot 2 years ago.
