Our next guest on the Longecity podcast is Dr. Michael Shermer!

Dr. Michael Shermer is the Publisher of Skeptic magazine, a monthly columnist for Scientific American, and a Presidential Fellow at Chapman University where he teaches Skepticism 101. He is a New York Times best selling author and his upcoming book “Heavens on Earth” sets out to discover what drives humans’ belief in life after death, focusing on recent scientific attempts to achieve immortality along with utopian attempts to create heaven on earth.

This is bound to be a very interesting podcast, let us know if you have any questions for Michael in the comments below :)

The interview is scheduled for this Friday.

Dr. Shermer has long been a harsh critic when it comes to rejuvenation science and cryonics. At times, in the past, it might have even seemed to be an irrational skepticism. In this interview you will find that he is actually looking forward to innovations in life extension technology. He is still a little reserved about prospects for progress because of the complexity that is involved.
