Michio Kaku etc.

I spelled dr. Novella' s name wrong in earlier post.  Should be  Steve Novella, from skeptic  movement.  healthy dose of scientific sceptism  is good.    Brain Dunning etc are all in movements that  promote science, but    criticize  quacks/ pseudoscience.

Similar to Mind's snake oil reviews.  Steve Novella's   podcast gets 40,000 - 45,000 listeners a week

There's also  survivalist movement,  but many survivalists probably believe in  conspiracies of gov

I will reiterate some and add some others:
Michael R, Fredrik, PZ Myers, Linus Torvalds, Jack Lalanne, imminst users. Maybe interview some of the supplement (science) experts from bb.com... could help to spread the meme over there (I know some of them lurk/read on imminst).

Actually, what about a Vitamin D sunday evening update?
Any of the Vitamin D experts would do: Holick, Cannell, Hollis, Zittermann, Vieth or maybe someone else http://www.vitamindc...cientists.shtml

OK I'm not sure who but does anyone have any ideas on who could give a talk on the microbiome?

Also if there is anyone that may be able to give a talk about it for SENS4?

thanks,

Chris

Another interview I would be interested to see would be with Reason.

Some of us are also wondering what you think about conducting an informal debate between Michael Rose and Aubrey de Grey at the sunday evening update with you as the moderator.

I invited Ray K. about a year ago, but no answer.

I have been inviting people that you all have suggested. Dave Gobel agreed to an interview. In fact, it was supposed to happen last Sunday August 30th, but he backed out at the last minute. We rescheduled for today, but it seems he is away from the office, so maybe later this month.

John Smart promised an interview this summer but has recently backed out.

I have contacted a few others but no definitive dates yet.

Thanks for all the suggestions. What tends to help is if any of you have a connection to the people who are potential guests for the show. If we have a connection it makes it easier to get people on the show.

UCLA professor Gregory Stock

How about trying to interview Shripad Tuljapurkar via some medium.  I happened to run across this BBC news piece in which he is quoted as saying, "anti-ageing advances could raise life expectancy by a year each year over the next two decades."  I then did a quick, Google search for him and found a bio/vita:

I didn't even know the guy existed before today (BBC article from 2006 posted below).

William A. Haseltine, the father of Regenerative Medicine.

Dr. William Alan Haseltine is concidered the father of Regenerative Medicine. He probably also coined the term rejuvenation therapies in 1992.

I would like to add Dr. William A. Haseltine to the wish list of interviews.

Attached a word doc. quotes by Haseltine.

Heres some further ideas on interviewing Jacque Fresco. http://www.imminst.o...o...c=35068&hl=

Another good candidate for interview might be one of the heads of TimeShip. I wonder how the two might be combined.

I called Roxanne and Jacque and just waiting for a response.

I have emailed most of the other suggested guests, but no show dates have been worked out yet.
