Apollo 440 remix of Don't fear the reaper originally by Blue Öyster Cult:

Interesting trivia:

The song Liquid Cool (released as a b-side in 1993, as a single in 1994, and featured on the Millennium Fever album) is a tribute to Alcor, a company focused to pursue research into and the organization of cryonization. The topic is also referenced in the title-song Millennium Fever, which includes the "I've been dreaming of freezing my mind in California" where Alcor was based until 1994. Contact details for Alcor subsequently appeared on the sleeve of the single (Don't Fear) The Reaper (a cover of the Blue Öyster Cult song).

(From Wikipedia).

It's not personal, but most of those songs make me throw up (although, don't fear the reaper is superb).

Listen to this gem, probably the best screams ever heard in a black metal song:

The twin brothers forming BELKETRE, as well as several other very underground French black metal and black metal related death ambient projects (comprising the now dead, "infamous" LLN), also textured their vocals nearly as instruments, extending through them the philosophical as well as emotional conceptualizations of the project(s)....They even created their own language, comprising several languages, for amazing projects such as BRENORITVREZORKRE........

You can now also listen to the playlist I listed here before, from my profile here: http://www.imminst.o...ofile-m523.html

One of humankinds greatest foes is natural apathy. Anything we can use to stir ourselves away from that could be a life saver. Music is one of those. I try to use it to hype myself up when I can.

Alot of the songs in my playlist have a life and death theme, like, dont blink, time marches on, much to young to be this damn old, and others. Others I think are just intense or stir some kind of useful meaning.

Roe, you should consider building a playlist in some place like projectplaylist.com and then embeding that here.

This is an interesting theory to think about. It makes me think about how communication works best in certain patterns. It seems like music is more likely to succeed in communicating a message, even if there is a weak message, because people pay more attention to these patterns when creating it, where as when people try to communicate with regular language they many times disregard this all together. Such as, a person from a "hood" may try to speak ebonics in a luthern church, or a professor may drag on in a monotone voice, which might be equivalent to say, inviting a bunch of nuns to a gangster rap concert, or creating a song by randomly banging on a bunch of pots and pans.

Concerning my most recent post; adding something about a song and correcting myself about another...
"DJ Sammy, Yanou And Do - Heaven"; Will say she has a nice voice and it, this voice of hers, is with good lyrics; a pleasant song. Also, regarding "Alexia Phillips - Say You Love Me"...Although taken as been spoken of here before; is actually a new song to me, should have placed it at the top. I think it is one of her best songs.

Eurythmics(Annie Lennox).

Heres some that seem fitting to me. It seems most rage songs can have their themes tweaked to fit this cause.

The three minute mark of the song here always reminds me of this cause. "Brother, did you forget the cause? Did you lose it on the wall playing tic tac toe, yo, check the diagonal, three billion gone, come on, dont you know that agings counting backwards to zero. Enviroment, exceeding on the levels of our unconciousness, for example, what does the bill board say, come and play, keep up with the Jones', forget about the movement."

Heres another great rage song.
