So I have decided to add Acetyl-L-Carnitine (ALCAR) and Alpha Lipoic Acid to my daily intake. I know it is recommend to take ALA ~30 minutes after the ALCAR for optimal results.

Currently I take 1.5g of Resveratrol first thing in the morning, on an empty stomach. I then eat breakfast ~2.5 hours later. The easiest thing would be to take ALCAR at the same time as the Resveratrol. My question is will the ALCAR and Resveratrol compete on uptake and absorption? Do I need to seperate them by some period of time?

Each is well absorbed on their own, so it is probably unlikely that there will be interference.

Without a study, it is difficult to be definitive.
