The Immortality Institute is organising it, and the subjects will be diverse areas of indefinite life extension.

More specific information will be released in the not too distant future.

Can the poll be converted into a multiple option poll? Because it's a bit far in time for most people to have a preference for some date, but there may be some people who can't come at one specific date.

Concerning the content, I think it would be nice to have a talk describing the *scientific* technical limits of crygenics and cryopreservation (not just what works and what may later work). It would be great to have Spindler describing his lifespan tests in mice with various supplements. It would be great if SENSF can explain what they technically reached so far. It would be nice if life-extension-art is presented.

The weekend of 23 and 24 October is to be avoided if you don't want people to be absent because of F.A.C.T.S 2010, Belgium's biggest sci-fi, fantasy, anime and comics festival.

@Agevivo "Can the poll be converted into a multiple option poll? Because it's a bit far in time for most people to have a preference for some date, but there may be some people who can't come at one specific date."

Seconded!

@Shannon Vyff "I voted for the first weekend, just in case it will be a little bit better weather ;-)"

You can always hope for good weather, but don't forget this is Belgium... ;-)

Didn't know that. Yes then it would be better to choose another date.

I live in Belgium too (Ninove, Oost-Vlaanderen).

Have you heard about Heales? The Belgian 'equivalent' of Imminst.

Well, the weather was already cold and wet here in England by the first weekend in October- (but I'm quite spoiled by having lived the previous 5 years in Austin TX ;) ) --but yeah, I'm sure it is colder in Brussels -just bring sweaters and winter coats :)

except that Heales is mainstream. Heales means Healthy Life Extension Society. Heales can try to orient political decisions, and has connections with the European Parliament. Anything you do for Heales you can put it on your CV and people will consider you rather than think you are strange. http://www.heales.org/
Also Heales is more than Belgian. There are people from France England and Germany. http://www.heales.org/

True, I was talking to a Belgian, so I pointed out that Heales was active in his/her country. But Heales is of course also active in France and the Nederland’s and with Alexander, maybe also in Germany in the future.

Oops. Sorry JML! Heales is indeed mainstream, international, and really great.
