Are you taking aniracetam? If so, for how long and at what dosage? What can you say has been the most noticeable benefit of aniracetam or from adding it to you nootropic stack?

There are a few entries on this thread including David Tolsen:

"Going by feedback alone people do seem to report more mixed results from aniracetam. Some think it is a lot better and some worse than piracetam. My hunch is that it may just not work as well with some other supplements as piracetam does."

BDNF: which racetams (if any) have you taken and what has been your experience so far?

Thanks for your reply.

Those reports on aniracetam aren't particularly encouraging.

I'm currently using Piracetam (2 x 1.2g); it seems to allow me to study for longer periods of time. I have used Aniracetam in the past and noticed it improved my writing ability and motivation. I am interested in other people's experiences with aniracetam and might purchase some more since my past usage was only for 1 month.

There is also this thread here:

BDNF: There is a poster...might be called olderbutwiser on this board who said he felt best using just relatively few supps including piracetam (but not other racetams). I've seen other reports on the avant board of people who didn't like the experience of mixing more then one ractam.

OTOH you should definitely wait and hear what Nootropi, Cosmos and if he makes a rare cameo appearence, Zen has to say on this topic as they have personal experience and I am just reporting what I have read (my nootropics have almost all arrived and I should be able to start start taking them later this week--yeah!).

Cheers.

I expected there to be more positive reports regarding aniracetam, largely because this drug positively modulates AMPA receptor activity and the majority of the cognitive-enhancing drugs in development target this receptor. (I realise this is a crude comparison).

OOPs make sure you read what I wrote about waiting for the board experts to chime in.

I am taking Aniracetam for about 2 weeks and I simply dropped my Piracetam level by 300MG and supplanted that with the aniracetam. My Piracetam level daily was about 1800MG per day in 2 doses. I now use Piracetam 1500MG and Aniracetam at 300MG.

I would say this works better than the Piracetam alone and at a higher level.

That is my experience and I made the decision based mainly on my intuition and not soley on advice from various suggested stacks. I notice that my writing is better but this is subjective of course. I am able to program a little better and this tedium work is always hard for me so any improvement is noticed.
