IBM makes breakthough

The article describes IBM's efforts to discover how long a single atom can store information. Supposedly it's relevant to Moore's law.

What interested me in the article is it's assumption that the atom will be the end of Moore's Law. It took me by surprise. I guess whoever wrote the article has never heard of picotechnology.
