My dentists say that we should get them once per year. But I'm not convinced that the additional x-ray risk is worth it. At this point, I'm very young, so I don't really need to worry about anything. I've almost gone for 3 years without any.
Are dental x-rays worth it?

I think once per year is overkill, assuming you have decent oral hygiene. 3 years is about time for a set. Forget about the x-ray risk, it's inconsequential. The advantage of x-rays is that you can find problems while they're still easy (and cheap) to fix.My dentists say that we should get them once per year.
