Hey, sorry if this is something that's easily found on google or sites like erowid (Erowid search appears to be down, and using google/erowid I can't find the answer). I'm over my bandwidth limit so doing a very thorough search is proving to be a chore. Bless Australia and its third-world Internet plans.

I'm interested in buying Noopept online but would like to know its legal status beforehand.

Any one know, or have any insight?

Any Australians here that have successfully purchased noopept online, or maybe unsuccessfully?

Cheers,

Verne.

Certainly interested myself.

I'm inclined to believe the only nootropic that is Scheduled is Piracetam.

No idea where to buy Noopept online, so I'd be most appreciative if you could PM me a link!

Let's buy it together; in numbers there is strength. ;)

Hey Geovicsha, you can purchase Noopept from Cerebral Health: http://www.cerebralh...supplements.php

10 grams for $49.95.

Seems pretty expensive, but when you consider it's supposed to be about a thousand times as potent as piracetam, it's actually quite a fair price. I have yet to buy it from there. I've spent enough on nootropics in recent weeks to feel comfortable spending any more money until I've done adequate testing of what I do have.

Not to mention; I'm pretty broke.

Am in Australia and just ordered some myself.
Have had no trouble getting many nootropics into Australia.

How are nootropics packaged when they come in to Australia? Even though it's legal I'm surprised they don't seize it since it's a mysterious white powder.

When I bought piracetam in powder form from Cerebral Health it came packaged in something resembling a chip packet, but thicker and sealed in a way less likely to puncture. I believe it was also in bubble wrap and your typical A4 postage envelope. It came with a "This has been checked by customs" pamphlet, but was still sealed.

I prefer my piracetam pre-capped so I normally bought it from Cognitive Nutrition and it came in capsuled in a sealed container, which was then further packaged in scrunched up newspaper and a cardboard box. It was also labeled as a "gift". This was very discreet and one of the reasons I preferred buying from Cognitive Nutrition (Not to mention some quality products!).

Though I will be buying from both Cerebral and Cognitive in the near future because they are both shipping plenty of products I want to experiment with, or want to go back to using. Both sites seem to have changed a bit since I last bought from them so I'm not sure if there shipping methods have changed, though I see no reason why they would.

I think Australia has the same restrictions as New Zealand. I contacted New Zealands MEDSAFE to ask about any import restrictions and they said it is legal to import but Illegal to Manufacture, distribute, sell and even "gift" to another person. But you can import for self use.

I buy my Noopept from a verified seller in america who is not only a really nice guy but has the best pricing I have found. He price breaks as well depending how much you buy. So far I have bought 10g Noopept twice.

Here is a thread with his details and prices: http://www.zoklet.ne...ad.php?t=254227

As of last time I checked, my research indicated the below:

Stimulants/Wakefulness Promoter
- Modafinil (Schedule 4)
- Armodafinil (not scheduled - may be covered by analogue laws?)
- Adrafinil (not scheduled - may be covered by analogue laws as precursor drug). Not recommended anyway as heavy on your liver.

Racetams
- Piracetam (schedule 4)
- Aniracetam (not scheduled)
- Noopept (not scheduled)
- Oxiracetam (not scheduled)
- Pramiracetam (not scheduled)

Best to keep an eye on the below lists:
http://www.health.go...p-precursor.htm (do not try to import these - prohibited)

http://www.tga.gov.a....htm#electronic
(This is the list of all scheduled drugs, always check against this list before ordering anything)

Also personally recommend trying to order from a vendor who supplies a Certificate of Authenticity. Ideally 3rd party certified but this can be hard.

I can recommend a local seller who does supply a COA and is a reputable online store. Haven't tried their racetams yet myself so I cannot comment but will be giving it a shot with my next order from them.
Not sure if I am allowed to post vendor links here since I'm new here?
Will check later as I'm on my mobile right now

Sorry all for the slow response. Work happened....

Anyways, bulknutrients.com.au has started selling racetams again (aniracetam, oxiracetam, pramiracetam, noopept).

They don't put the COA (certificate of authenticity) on their site so requested their COAs which they happily provided.

It's nice to know we have an Aussie vendor. I was curious to give their range a shot. Have placed an order and will update in the vendor thread once I have tested.

I will start a new thread in the vendor forum with a linky and COAs for those who are interested so as not to violate the forum rules.

Cheers
