For my entire life, I've been dealing with my extreme tendency to think with my right brain (holistically and scrambled). I fail to hold on to details and simply follow logical steps when learning new things at school. For the past year, I've been trying to figure out what exactly causes this hemispherical tendency. Why are some people more left brain than others and vice-versa? And please don't tell me it depends on how you began to learn early in your life, otherwise there wouldn't be connections between gender and hemispherical dominance; There's definitely some hormonal influence for it.

Does anyone have any ideas what it may be?
