I find this interesting, bold and inspirational. I have now sprouted a bit of anxiety over the future of the internet. This blackout really brings it to life.

I fully support it. I think SOPA/PIPA are ridiculous pieces of legislation with potentially very serious ramifications if passed. I think the campaign will be very effective in raising awareness among people who were not aware of this issue already.

On the other hand part of me feels like it would be a better demonstration if it actually passes and get implemented. There would be/will be quite the political backlash when things like facebook/youtube/wikipedia are removed from DNS listings. I think it would go a long way to demonstrate just how incompetent congress is and maybe serve to get some of these undereducated luddites we have in there run out of office next election.

I think it would have a greater effect if they really blacked out the sites. Google covered their logo on some sites and the home page (not google news interestingly), and wikipedia forwards to the blacked out page but can still be fully used if you simply hit the stop button before the forwarding.

The site can still be used by blocking JavaScript, so it isn't much of a blackout.

The Feds are going to cause havoc on the world until Barry gets kicked out, yeah he's going down. They want to cancel the elections lol
Just get a VPN until is sorted out.
