I ran out of ALCAR+ALA a while back, and I've been trying to decide what to replace it with. What is the opinion of Acetyl L-Carnitine Arginate these days?
I'm thinking about combining smallish doses of each of the following: Acetyl L-Carnitine Arginate, Acetyl L-Carnitine + Alpha Lipoic Acid, and CDP-Choline.
I'm open to suggestions or recommendations of alternatives (lecithin, alpha GPC, etc.) and recommended brands. I just would like to find an effective synergy.
I have had a very low response to the few choline supplements I've taken in the past, and I'm not prone to depression, anxiety, or over-stimulation. I do have low motivation and energy. For more information about my history, you can reference my DMAA thread.
Here is some more history, if you are interested:
I've assembled quite a few supplements that I've been trialing, in the attempt to solve my motivation/brain fog/energy issues. I neither plan to, nor can afford to take all of the following supplements for a long period of time, but I am attempting to find a few that work best in combination.
Here is a Google Doc with everything in my supplement cabinet. Like I mentioned, I've been trialing different combinations, not taking them all at once.
Others that I haven't tried yet that I've considered ordering are Uridine, Sulbutiamine, Methylene Blue, and Curcumin.
So far, I feel like I've seen decent results with my current regimen.
