I have read that it is not prudent to take different minerals at the same time as many of them interact with one another.

I read that this is true for magnesium and calcium because they compete with one another for absorption in the intenstine. I also read that zinc reduces levels of copper.

Can anyone confirm, and perhaps elaborate on this interactions? I would like to know how to space out zinc, iodine, iron, calcium, magnesium, lithium, etc...

Hey Khemix

Zinc and Copper compete, that's true. I'm not sure about the Calcium, Magnesium though.
I read Lithium competes with Magnesium, but I'm not sure. I guess there are a couple people taking Li and Mg together before bed.

Are you a guy? You may not need Iron if you are male. If you have trouble absorbing iron, iron depot injections would be a better solution. Iron is pro - oxidant.
