Since the upgrade, I'm seeing a lot of unintended multiple thread creation. When people start a new thread, sometimes two or more identical threads are created. This isn't just the usual noob error of using the browser back button; it's happening with experienced people.

If this has happened to sb, it would be great if you could share steps leading up to this/any errors or error messages you may have experienced

It has happened to me. It seems there is either a problem on the server end that delays my posting, or it is my internet connection. If it is slow, or if there is a delay, I might mistakenly click on "post reply" twice or even three times. This creates the multiple threads.

It happened to me once, and I'm sure I only clicked once. I couldn't discern anything unusual; I went into the forum view, started a thread, and posted it. I don't think it's something users are doing; It started right after the upgrade.

The whole forum didn't suddenly become click-happy. We rarely used to get multiple thread-starts, and suddenly, since the upgrade, we've been getting tons of them.

I'm amongst the slow-connection-frustrated-multiclicker monkeys, myself. Fortunately, as a moderator, I can delete duplicates.

I believe this issue should be better now. Disabled IP.SEO: Ping Services hook.
