This article by Sarah Vaughter sould be of interest to anyone suffering from Multiple sclerosis, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, ALS, Fibromyalgia.

Her 'When ALS is lyme' article is also very interesting:

I believe that the most effective treatment for any bacteria are Bactrophages. Something not (yet :) ) mentioned on Sarah's site:

There's some pretty interesting data there. I'd need to learn more about it to really say, but at first glance the map of "Lyme Deaths" (whatever that is) and the map of "MS deaths" in the US look like near copies of each other. I just wish Ms. Vaughter wouldn't go so overboard on the conspiracy theory. She purchased some overpriced papers from scientific journal publishers, and there was a statement that she wasn't legally allowed to provide them for free to the public. She claims this is part of the "conspiracy" to prevent you from knowing the truth. I think it's more like the "conspiracy" that prevents you from legally posting copyrighted music and videos. The ascribing of evil motives to the conventional science and medicine community doesn't help either. If the information she's presenting is true, and I suspect at least some of it is, then this ought to get more attention.

I don't buy this. The tick which carries lyme is confined to a few small areas of the country. But MS occurs in virtually every city in every state...MS is distributed uniformly throughout the country....you will find MS patients in every hospital I'm certain. I personally know two people with MS that have never been in the areas of the country where the lyme carrying ticks are commonly found. Any map or "data" that shows only MS deaths occurring only where Lyme deaths occurred...obviously is fraudulent. Lyme can be tested for. Lyme can be cured with a long course of antibiotics. They can't cure MS yet. She claims MS doesn't exist...but in fact, MS is the deterioration of the myelin sheath of the entire nervous system, possibly with a genetic risk factor (much like Alzheimer’s has a genetic risk factor). Quite frankly, she sounds more than a little loony as most conspiracists do.

edit: Also reminds me of how many people were and still are completely convinced that the MMR vaccine is the cause of autism...even though it's been thoroughly debunked and proven otherwise.

I speak under correction Hebbeh, but I dont think thats what the geographic maps show.
I think they show MS and Lyme deaths occuring everywhere with a supprising correlation of increased deaths by both in the same areas.

I am hoping that Sarah will post here explaining the Normalised Count of MS/Lyme ...'graphs' better.
Also I dont think its a good idea to get hung up the the visually easy to assimilate pics only, but to read her whole arguement/article.
There one finds some evidence that 'Lyme' can be spread by more bugs than just ticks. Possibly even by sexual contact and even just kissing!?
Also note that a virus, bacteria etc. passed from parent to child can look like and be mistaken for, genetically inhereted risk factors.

I have a theory startintg to form in my amature head from the reading I have done: (Plz excuse the layman language)
It seems to me that there are correlations between bacterial and viral infections that infect brain/nerve cells and MS, Alzheimers, Parkinsons, ALS, Fibromyalgia etc.
There are papers on pubmed showing a corelation to HSV and Hepatitus too.
Now untill recently there was a lot of what was called 'Junk DNA' by scientests, in our DNA.
It turns out that its actually DNA inserted by virii into the DNA of our ancestors and some-how not expressed but passed down.
From my reading; it seems to me that this 'junk DNA' can become expressed/active/modified after infection and is possibly the... trigger that starts these neurodegenerative diseases going???

I will re-visite my... 'research'/links and post some here.

Either way it seems prudent to take precautions against virii and bacteria by taking things like BHT and Coconut oil wich strip the lipid layer off of virii that have them. (Flu, HSV, Hep, AIDS etc.)
And keeping ones immine system strong. with suppliments known to do so.
