So us experienced nooters on this forum at one point or another have come across posts which decry the supposed excitotoxicity risks of amphetamines (adderall) and the racetams. Does this mean that I shouldn't take a low dose of prescribed amphetamine with my racetam regimen? I have experimented with a variety of doses, it takes about 30mg to get me "buzzing", which I do not want, while 10 or less usually makes me "feel" nothing.

I have thought about combining 10mg or less (5mg perhaps) with piracetam. At that dosage can I really expect problems? Please advise, I love both supplements but so far I have been too scared to mix.

FYI...A friend of mine has been mixing with his RX and reports no problems.

no i dont think so, piracetam is not a agonist its a modulator of nmda receptors, its also shown to be neuroprotective at some points and it enhances mitochondrial metabolism, so it seems beneficial,
as long as you keep dosages low it should be fine
