Hello everyone. I've been reading here since a post here inspired me to try sulbutiamine, and it made me much more effective. I thought I should delurk, and let you know what I've been doing since. I made Textcelerator, a speed-reading tool, which greatly increased my reading speed. It also seems to keep me from getting distracted in the middle of reading.

One interesting thing I've found is that by pushing the speed up near my limit, I can tell how well my brain is functioning; when I adjust it to a comfortable speed it ends up somewhere from 800-1200 words per minute, and this is a surprisingly good proxy for energy level, which would otherwise be hard to quantify. I'm curious about whether other people get the same effect, and which supplements this metric does and doesn't respond to.

There was a bug on the front page where, if you closed the window, it would remember your settings - it remembers your chosen reading speed - but it'd also remember whether the window was open, even after you refreshed it. That's fixed now. You might also want to try the browser plugin, which makes it usable everywhere (and adds a button and hotkey to your browser to open/close it).

Great, congratulations on your software, though i don't think this is right place to promote it (unless you want to offer some special discount for the forum).
Actually i was considering making this kind of tool myself, but procrastination takes over.

I really like the integration part, especially the ability to integrate it into your site.
