Greetings all!
I've been an extremely tired person for a long time now and no doctors / psychiatrics has beeen able to help me. I am therefore trying to boost my energy level, focus, alertness and clarity as much as I can on my own. I recently came across nootropics when desperately searching for drugs that could help me. I don't want to bore you with my whole story but if you want to know briefly about me I'm a 27 year old male from Sweden who works at the computer. I eat very healthy and exercise regularly and I'm normally happy in general (no depressions). I suffer from EDS (Excessive Daytime Sleepiness) / hypersomnia and often find it extremely hard to focus during the day (I'm a night owl and can usually work much better after night time with greater alertness).
I didn't think there existed any "supplements" with very little side effects (known so far) that could affect your daily life that much (after reading and watching objectively created reviews by individuals like you and me). After doing days of research, I decided to try following nootropics and would like to know if I missed something or if I added something in vain. I also have a few questions that I couldn't really find answers to myself.
Before breakfast:
- Phenylalanine 500mg
- Vitamin C 500mg
- B6 50mg
I read that Phenylalanine or Tyrosine exists naturally in high protein diets like eggs, milk, cottage cheese, chicken, etc which I eat a lot. So will extra Phenylalanine be useless in my situation?#1
Maybe I'm better off just taking the Vitamins then correct?#2 Or do I still need the intake on empty stomach to produce the extra dopamine boost?#3
Racetam & Choline
- Pramiracetam / Oxiracetam
- Alpha-GPC
I read a lot of great things about the racetams that could benefit me. Apparently Pramiracetam and Oxiracetam are both more potent than the original Paracetam and faster working, so it sounds like a no brainer if the price isn't too big of a difference. According to most sources, Racetams should be combined with Choline to boost the effect and to avoid headaches, but which one is the better one here?#4
Anti-aging
- Deprenyl / Selegiline / Centrophenoxine / Lucidril
Don't get me wrong, I don't have a life crise (yet), I'm typically after the other benefits of these pills like increased energy, better sense of well being, increased alertness and improved libido.
I heard most about Deprenyl and Selegiline but today I stumbled upon Centrophenoxine as well. Are they all contributing with the same effects here?#5 Can they be combined or should I go with one of them?#6 Is it better to use liquid or tablets?#7
I decided to try out the racetam and choline first and then deprenyl without the other two so I possibly could distinguish the effects. At last I will try them all together over a longer period.
So, how do you guys like my stack?#8 Should I remove or add something?#9
I marked all questions with a bracket (#) so you easier can answer them in a chronological order if you like
I look forward to any guidance and hope that I can give back to the community one day.
Take care for now guys and gals!
