I got the idea from CrazyIguana and his Noopept Journal.

Sent in an order of 100g piracetam today.

Background:
I am a freshman at University of Nevada, Las Vegas studying Computer Science. Although I do not have any computer science classes until next fall, i'm considered that major. I try to work out whenever I can, but most of my time I am at the library studying for classes.

I have grown an interest in Nootropics when I ended up looking for 'NZT' like effects; related to the movie Limitless. Currently, I am on Alpha Brain (2 pills in the morning around 7:30; 1 pill around 2pm) and today I just started on Noopept (capsules; 25mg noopept, 350mg choline)(twice a day).

Basically this whole experience/journal/review will last 30 days and I will provide journal entries for 30 days.
Keep in mind there will be days, such as weekends, where I may NOT take any Nootropics.

Questions:
What is piracetam supposed to smell like?
-I purchased from CH.

Not sure how I can edit:

I purchased Piracetam and Choline from Hard Rhino. Not from Cerebral Health. Maybe in the future I will order from multiple suppliers.

Tomorrow I will start my journal on Piracetam with Choline.
For the first week, I will probably be taking 4g twice daily with 2g Choline. We'll see how it goes.

Today I just received 100g of Piracetam and Choline in the mail along with my capsule machine "00" and "00" capsules (750count).
Opened up Piracetam and do the usual taste and smell test. Piracetam has a VERY bitter taste to it and a cold touch and long with the smell, there is none.
Hard Rhino's label does warn you that Choline does smell "fishy" and that is completely normal, the taste is actually pleasant. It's a sour taste, maybe tart?

Tonight I will be putting all 100g in separate capsules. Each capsule holds around 1g (hopefully) and I will be starting tomorrow.
While reading through the forums, I understand that there is a 'loading phase' where it may take up to 14 days for the full effect, but keep in mind I may not be taking the Piracetam and Choline during weekends (which are Friday-Sunday) as I do not classes during those days. Maybe i'll just take them to finish up the 'loading phase'.

Currently I am taking EPIQ Noopept capsules from Cerebral Health (25mg Noopept, 350mg Choline, plus DMAE and UMP) 3-4 daily. For the past week.
Also, I have been taking Alpha Brain from Onnit, 2-3 daily for the past 3 weeks.

EPIQ Noopept has been working for me, but it would wear-off in about 2-3 hours.
Alpha Brain is an on/off type of ordeal.

Anyways, I will be posting up my 'Day 1' tomorrow!

Day 1:

I was able to measure the capsules and they came out around 600mg each, far from the 1g I wanted for each pill. I will be buying more Piracetam and a proper scale sometime soon in the future.

On with my first day, I woke up around 6:30am and took 3 capsules in the morning at around 7:30am and headed off to class. i didn't experience any headaches, but I did feel tired. Probably because I went to bed kind of late. So far, there doesn't seem to be any type of effects happening, I don't feel any more focused than before.
Around 1:30pm I took 4 more capsules
4:50pm I took 3 more capsules

Total of 10 capsules, so around 6g.

With the whole experience, I did feel a little tingling in my brain when I took the 4 capsules around 1:30pm and everything around me seemed to be sharper. Focus was there, where I was able to get some of my work done, but not as well as Noopept.

Honestly, I might just empty out all the capsules I just filled to packed them in more. Last night I rushed through it and trust me, it wasn't worth it at all. If I have to take 10 capsules a day thats just ridiculous, or I might just buy another 100g or even 500g of Piracetam and make a new batch of capsules.

Anyways, even though I took a bunch of capsules, I didn't have any type of headaches, maybe my body already has enough Choline? I'm not sure.
I'll be continuing throughout the weekend to finish up the 'loading phase'.

See you tomorrow.

Day 2:
Last night I emptied out all of the capsules and filled up new ones. This time I actually spent time repacking every single one of them and you can actually feel and see the difference between the ones that were rushed and ones which you packed down. You can feel the difference in the weight and when you squeeze the capsules, you know which one has more and which one has less.

This morning I woke up at around 12pm.. so good afternoon? At 12:30 I had some cereal and took 4 capsules of Piracetam and one capsule of Choline. I left the house around 1:00 to fix my mechanics computer and while driving I did feel a little bit of pressure behind my eyes, but besides that. Nothing else was different.
Around 3:45 I took another 4 capsules of Piracetam and 1 capsule of Choline with a cup of milk. After 30 minutes, the pressure behind my eyes came back and it might have looked a little bit more brighter? More vivid? No significant results for day 2.

For day 2, I am done taking capsules because once I take capsules after 6:00pm, sleeping is a struggle.

PS: I did not feel as tired as yesterday. I felt tired throughout the whole entire day and it was just awful.

~~~~~~~~
While redoing all of my capsules, originally I had 165 Piracetam capsules. At the end I ended up with 140. The capsule machine I am using fills up 24 capsules at a time, so I put out 24 capsules from the original set of Piracetam capsules I made and towards the end of the new 24 Piracetam, I ended up using about 26-27 pills to fill up 24 capsules.
Make sure you spent your time packing everything down, it'll be worth it towards the end.
Anyways, see you guys tomorrow.
Day 3:
Woke up around 12pm and took 5 Piracetam capsules and 1 Choline capsule with some Pizza that I ordered last night! :D
After 30 minutes to an hour, I just felt tired as fuck and didn't want to do anything. I think my focus was still there, but all I wanted to do was go to sleep.
Am I doing something wrong here? Should I keep taking Piracetam?
At 6:00pm, I took another 4 Piracetam capsules and 1 Choline. Didn't feel tired after that, but I did feel a little bit more focused, but nonetheless, nothing different.
I might try out Modafinil (provigil) sometime this week or next week. Gonna stop by the doctors office, ask for a prescription and i'll be out of there.
I'll update you guys on that also.
Peace.
Sorry for not updating.
For the past 2 days that I've been taking Piracetam+Choilne, I have been feeling a slight subtle "enhanced vision". Just after taking 4 600-700mg capsules with one capsule of choline, i'm able to feel the effects slightly.
Also I had to give a speech for my communications class. An hour before the class, I was absolutely nervous, then I took 2 more Piracetam capsules and my anxiety went away. I was able to fly through the whole entire speech without a problem.
Update:
This coming Wednesday will be the end of week 2 and the start of week 3.
I received 100g of Piracetam on February 27th and started taking Piracetam the next day. I'm not sure how many (g's) I have been taking daily. I ordered a pocket scale and 200g of Piracetam from HardRhino on Friday, and hopefully it will be here on Monday (tomorrow). I'm running awfully low on Piracetam. Even on capsules. I will update you guys with the weight of each capsule (range).
Each day, I have been taking 5 capsules (supposed to be close to 800mg each) twice daily, sometimes three times. I have also realized there is no need in taking Choline with the Piracetam. I do not experience any type of headache. But, I will still intake 1-2g of Choline everyday.
Week One:
While on Piracetam, honestly I felt horrible. Well, not horrible horrible, but whenever I take Piracetam with Choline, I would become tired throughout the whole entire day. While researching online, people said keep on taking it and it will kick in around week 2.
Don't give up if it doesn't work for you during week one!
Week Two:
In the beginning of week two, I did feel kind of tired while taking Piracetam, but as the week went on I got more energy and the cloudyness in my head started to disappear.
For the weekend, I decided to not take any Piracetam, or just a small dosage. Comparing it when i'm completely on Piracetam, I can definitely notice a difference. During the whole entire weekend (3 days) i've only taken 8 capsules for the total of 3 days. Which is around 6.4grams. During the weekday, I take about 10-15 capsules a day.
Anyways, my overall cognitive performance has increased and it helped me with my studies and exams so far.
If Piracetam isn't working for you, keep going. Wait until the 3rd week and you'll definitely feel a difference.
Update:
Just got 200g Piracetam and my 600g pocket scale from HardRhino.
Took 2 days for the package to come to my house.
I weighed the Piracetam capsules and they are around 800-900mg each. Choline is 700-800mg each.
I'm running low on Piracetam capsules, so hopefully tonight I will be able to make some.
Will update you guys later.
Ahoy there,
Just curious if you were still around and if you had any personal opinion about Piracetam you wanted to share.
I think I'm going to give it a try, and you're the first person I found who actually kept a log.
Hope all is well in your world.
