I keep getting invited to topics, but there is no link to the topic, or any identification of the topic at all.

This often happens if people change the pre-configured text that comes with the 'invite' function.
We should look into eliminating that glitch, but meanwhile if you want to make sure it works best send the invite without changing the text.
