Please add a list of your favorite documentaries in this thread. If you could, also specify whether it's a serious/scientific documentary or more lifted towards entertainment. (Both are fine btw, just helps to know beforehand what the documentary is like).
I am particularly interested in documentaries on nutrition, nootropics and neuroscience, and anything related to self-improvement, but enjoy just about anything.

I did a quick search on the site and couldn't find any threads about this and was hoping we could get something like this going.

Most British documentaries I forget the names of. Interesting documentary films on mental illness, people overcoming adversity, great ape documentaries, travel documentaries etc. I have to be honest as much as I love scripted US programs all the US documentaries I've seen have some guy with a dramatic voice talking about stuff like he's giving a preview to an action movie and then they seem to drag out the point of the show for a whole hour and a few breaks (adverts/commercials) and that doesn't work for me.

I really like everything Louis Theroux does though and he kind of spans borders? lol. Close as I can get that people may have heard of I think.

Probably anything Nasa/Space related. I'm still pining to build a flying saucer.
