since gelatin does not dissolve in water (not water soluble), do I take it with fats then? Is it fat soluble then? I haven't been taking it with fat, just water. I've lost some weight, but not sure i notice any so called HGH from it. Maybe this needs to be taken with fat for it to be absorbed best?

Try warm milk (3%). Add a tablespoon gelatin, one or two teaspoon salt and some honey. Perfect before going to bed!

If you are talking GH, then go the peptide route. take your cost down to under a hundred a month with these benefits:

-SAFE, no interactions no sides, very easy to take.

-anti-aging is only 1 shot a day, subQ before bed

-actually works unlike GH were the response is blunted very quickly.

-not Chinese unknown garbage.

-widely available. blueskypeptide is where I get mine.

-fat burning, GI regulating,

-safe for 8-10 months at a time

-inexpensive, legal.

there is a huge following for these, recommend another forum datbtrue - mod screens every person prior, very advanced discussions, still lots for beginner.

I don't know much about hormones, analogues, peptides etc but this sounds too good to be true.

"Safe for 8 - 10 months at a time", elaborate please. What do you consider safe?

Not sure how a peptide works, but it is NOT GH for sure. You aren't saying exactly if they are GH. Which peptide have you tried? I've heard of some of them being used by some steroid users but I haven't looked in it thoroughly.

The longest time I was on HGH (Kigtropin) was about 6 months straight, 5 IUs daily. It is not magic as some may make it out to be. It takes time to work and for it to work properly you gotta do your part (diet, exercise, rest etc.).

is it best to take the gelatin post or pre workout? Does it even matter as long as I took it for the day? The half life thing might come to play regarding of when I took it for it to be effective as a weight loss supplement and or for the growth hormone effect, or not?

are all gelatin the same? Some are bovine derived and I'm curious of other types of gelatin exist NOT from bovine but more exotic sources, and would it be better?

I had been taking gelatin for as long as when I started this thread about 2-3 years ago. My 5 pound bag just finished. I was taking it off and on and in tiny dosages. I think 4 g or less, but I think someone mentioned to me 10 g is what I should be taking to see real results, is this true? So I bought another 5 pound bag and took a 10 g dose. Hopefully the bag finishes sooner than 2-3 years and hopefully I see results. I can't say I saw any dramatic results before because I think my dose was too low, 4 g or less. I think my hair and skin looked good (I'm 32 yet people think I'm 26 or younger). Not sure if I had gain much muscularity. Some weight loss but nothing dramatic. I'm only 145 pounds to begin with, Hopefully all fats around my waist gets destroyed and I turn into all muscles.

Not sure if the GH from taking gelatin can induce sleep because after I had just ingested 10 g of it 30 minutes later I feel as if I want to go to bed, either that or I'm just tired.

Simon it's been a while. I'm curious since most people have told me to avoid calcium prior to sleep as it affects quality of sleep, was I taking the gelatin the wrong way all this time which is why it wasn't doing it for me 100%? It's because I drink it with milk which has calcium. Doesn't calcium block GH release while sleeping? I have no sources but almost everyone that have told me mentioned to avoid calcium prior to sleep and the supplement called ZMA and ZMK even stated this prior to take them. There are talks about decalcifying the pineal gland by avoiding calcium so it makes sense?

Hi Eon,

I think mucuna pruriens like l-dopa is not safe. Gelatin is a much safer option to raise hgh levels.

Cheers,

Simon

Hi Eon,

I'm not aware of calcium being a problem for sleeping.

I do a lot of other stuff to imporve my sleep quality, like;

- no coffee after 13:00

- no laptop work after 20:00

- I try to exercise in the morning

I sopped using gelatin a month ago, I take a whey protein shake in the evening.

What are you trying to achieve?

Cheers,

Simon

I did stop taking gelatin for a few months, no particular reason. I did like it but I was just curious how you are or any one else here is doing on gelatin. Also, does the gelatin vegetarian substitute "agar-agar" have any benefits as well? I think this is "gelatin" but for vegetarians, I guess used as a thickener?

Agar agar may have benefits, but not those due to the distinctive amino acid profile of gelatin.

ipamoerlin + mod grf1 before bed for growth hormone release. Nothing beats this.

It's a powerful antidepressant though tolerance develops pretty fast. Though you can use it 2-3 times a week. Don't overdose it and use with caution because it has some abuse potential and don't take this stuff with stims especially dat inhibitors.
