This is kind of neat. I thought that Noopept was just another shallow nootropic. But it may actually have anti-diabetic properties. If so, we'd be talking life-extension potential and so on. Think I'll keep it on my regimen, but not other racetams.

Other noots that have general pro-health and life extension impact include the adaptogen rhodiola rosea, EGCG, PQQ, ALCAR, phosphatidylcholine and LA. And, yes, they are all nootropic to some degree also. As an example, PQQ strongly protects dopamine receptors in the brain. I personally feel that I will not digest something for decades, UNLESS it does something for me beyond being a mere nootropic AND is proven to be healthy for the long term.
