It's known that excessive alcohol consumption can lead to both accelerated and exaggerated skin aging.. but at what point does this effect kick in?

Is there any evidence that moderate yet frequent consumption can age the skin? What about binge drinking once a week, or even once a month? Wouldn't the body have time to heal and reverse any damage done between those drinking sessions, or does it cause permanent cumulative damage?

Any insights would be appreciated.

Does it? Just did some research and I can't find any good studies that show that. No doubt binge drinking, or alcohol abuse, would. But does moderate, doctor recommended, one drink a day have significant effect?

From my experience more than around 40 - 50 grams of etanol a day causes massive skin degradation and shitty looks (rosacea, loss of collagen, wrinkles).
