im wondering if listening to binaural beats will still work while on antidepressants. im taking an SNRI (pristiq)

i just thought since antidepressants sort of change your brain chemistry and can have a mind numbing effect binaural beats wouldnt work as well

Well antidepressants mechanism is balancing and boosting neurotransmitters and it is believed that binural beats might boost neurotransmitters as well. So maybe less effect since I think binural beats only works to balance you up to normal levels, which antidepressants also do or even above normal levels.

Hmm well I'm on an SSRI and binaural beats seem to have no effect on me, so maybe there's some merit to this.
