That's an interesting supplement, but given that quercetin is a
known mutagen that has been shown to
enhance tumor growth in mice, I wouldn't want to supplement it at such doses. At the level present in a phytonutrient-rich diet, quercetin probably acts as an anti-carcinogen. Most (phyto)nutrients have an U-shaped dose-response curve, though, and for quercetin, there is some evidence that supplemental doses in the three- to four-digit mg range (which are impossible to obtain through a healthy diet - well, at least if you don't regulary eat tablespoons full of
capers or lovage ) may actually be too much of a good thing.
