I just ordered Rasagiline 1mg from alldaychemist. Weird thing is, I had a look at how much it costs on the PBS here in Australia, and it's more than 2x CHEAPER to get it myself overseas than from here on the PBS (not as a pensioner, but a regular). It cost me $38US for 90 1mg tablets
Look at this for BS
Cost to the Government
The full cost of rasagiline to the Australian Government is:Cost to the individual
- 1 mg (30 in pack), $121.59
If you get rasagiline through the PBS, the Australian Government pays most of the cost and you will pay only a part, called the co-payment.
At the time of publication, the co-payment for people who are entitled to get rasagiline through the PBS is:
- $35.40 for people without a concession card
- $5.80 for concession card holders.

I'm going to call BS on that 'cost to the government'.
It apparently costs $4.05 PER 1MG PILL of this to the government, but they are 'nice' to subsidise the cost for us so when you buy it through the PBS (without concession) it costs $1.18 per pill
Costed me 0.42 cents per pill (US dollar value) to get it from alldaychemist factor in shipping and I'm paying about half the cost of getting it through the PBS.
By the way, a 30 pack could be had for $13US. Not $121. Is there someone in the government I can contact to tell them of a much cheaper source? :p With the amount they need to buy maybe they can even get a bulk discount too!
