Well I'm back! (Again) Last post was in the nutrition section in February.
Anways I have added exercise to my regimen! I got a treadmill last week so I'm doing brisk walking for 45 min. to an hour a day on the treadmill and so far it's the best thing in my regimen in regards to how it makes me feel during the day. Mornings are no longer a drag I wake up feeling refreshed and ready to face the day. Now I just need to balance the diet and see how that affects me.
As far as supplements:
ALIVE Multi-Vitamin
Fish Oil 2x day
Medication:
Risperdal 4mg (Doc said he would reduce to lowest dose only when the voices are completely gone).
Fluvoxamine 150mg 100@ Night and 50mg in the evening.
Klonopin (Generic) .25mg@ Night (Doc said I could take up to .50mg if I wanted to (I really only take as needed).
I just recommend to you guys Diet & Exercise if your not doing those 2 things forget about nooptropics or supplements.
Here's my story. (Some of it)
I was hospitalized for Schizophrenia in 2012 due to delusional thinking and hearing voices. I thought people I knew could communicate with me by thought communication/reading. I would sit on the couch and talk with these "voices" which at the time I thought were other peoples thoughts or what they were saying. I thought that people where outside my house hiding by the bushes I would literaly go outside for the whole day (It was summertime) and laugh at them and point by the bushes. Now looking back at the whole scenario I was truly delusional in my thinking.
Medicine has helped but it has it's cost. My doc has mentioned getting my blood checked every 6 months to check for diabeties.
So basically in my opinion if you have a psychriatric condition you should go to a GOOD Psych or Doctor and then once prescribed the right medication you might try adding nootropics or supplements but ALWAYS add Diet & Exercise no matter what!
That's all!
If you guys would like to add anything go right ahead.
