Does anyone know how well magnesium citrate compares to magnesium sulphate for delivering magnesium orally, and also how well magnesium sulphate delivers sulphur, compared to say MSM?

Basically wondering if it's better to try a mix of magnesium citrate + MSM powder or take magnesium sulphate. The latter is far cheaper.

Mag sulfate may be ok for delivering magnesium (although it doesn't seem very popular- maybe it causes GI issues?) but I don't think it will cut it as a sulfur source. The sulfur in sulfate is highly oxidized. Bacteria and plants can reduce it to the thiol form that would be needed to make protein, but humans can't.
