I plan on using some form of ALA for best glutathione production (Cysteine+Glutamine+Glycine is only slightly effective for me) I have learned so far that R-LA is best but unstable with a tendency to polymerize and with a short half life. I cannot afford sustained release R-LA so I plan on mixing it with Coconut Oil because Medium Chain Triglycerides increase bioavailability of R-LA and also result in a 6-8 hour plateau of plasma concentrations as opposed to the very very fast acting R-LA on its own. But since R-LA is unstable I would want to use either Na-RALA or K-RALA (salt forms used for stabilization). I haven't seen a product combining MCT with a salt form of R-ALA so……my question is this: Does MCT combined with K-RALA (or Na-RALA) result in the same positive effects (sustained release and increased bioavailabilty) of mixing MCT with non salt form R-LA?

and is mixing coconut oil for MCT with an Alpha Lipoic Acid supplement together in a cup with a spoon and to be mixed inside your stomach effective or is there some other process that is necessary to combine them? THANK YOU!
