I have been using the Life Extension (LeF) "integra-lean irvingia" Irvingia gabonensis product for over a year, (with good results i may add)

but with their in comparison kinda pricey for what i kind of assume to be just a regular extract of African mango.

On the Life Extension page for the product in question, they state "Integra-Lean® Irvingia is protected by U.S. Patent No. 7,537,790."

i checked out the patent in question, and found that the patent seemed to be regarding the extracts ability to curve weight problems,

but nowhere could i find any actual information regarding the extract itself or what they meant with "IGOB-131® proprietary extract" as they also state on the page.

This leads me to think that the IGOB-131 extract is not a special extract, but simply a regular extract of Irvingia Gabonensis that have a patent attached to it.

But.. Am i wrong? Did i miss anything?!.. Its just, if it's just a simple extract i could just buy any other trustworty extract of the herb in bulk instead.

(information i meant is on the "supplement facts" page.

The LEF product is perhaps more likely to contain the real thing:

IGOB-131 is the extract that was used in the studies that kick started the African Mango craze:

Another cool article from ergo-log:

Study referred to in first ergo log article:

http://www.ncbi.nlm....les/PMC3506011/

Among the 5 representative AMDS purchased from the internet, only one sample contained trace constituents of regular mango seeds. The other 4 AMDS samples and the 2 AMSE samples from Chinese suppliers do not contain detectable amount of authentic AM seed extract...

Thank you for that information, seems to be an interesting find there.

So,, the only thing i can come up with to ask sellers is if their product is an extract of african mango or just regular mango..

The product i found interest in purchasing is actually on eBay;

There is no chance that nootrbiolabs product contains genuine african mango. Their business model is to buy the cheapest extracts from China (which likely will be made out of regular mango or even some other completely unrelated fruit, seed or herb) and resell them to overly trusting customers (victims) with zero quality control. If you ask them if their product is genuine, of course they will say it is.
