Hello everyone!

Before I begin, I must say, I am not sure if I am posting this in the right subsection or not. If I have, then I will gladly repost elsewhere.

Recently, I came across an article from Iflscience.com regarding inhibition of the TRPV1 Receptor. The article can be found here: http://www.iflscienc...n-more-calories

At the end of the article, it goes on to mention that drugs that inhibit the TRPV1 receptor site may be helpful in pain management, and theoretically may help in prolonging lifepsan.

Has anyone come across any interesting compounds that have been shown to inhibit the TRPV1 site?

Thanks!
