Been reading forums and noticed that people often stack Noopept with some Racetam.

My understanding is that Noopept is just 1000x more potent that Piracetam. So, why would you want to stack it with Racetam when Nooopept is already more potent than it? It should replace Racetam completely.

Right?

Also, I am reading some conflicting information

- Piracetam helps you become more fluid/better at social situations. More present, have some good conversations, improved verbalization, language skills

- Noopept , on the other hand, makes you LESS inclined to engage in social conversations.

How can both be true? If Noopept is 1000x more potent than Piracetam than Noopept should make you EVEN BETTER in social situations than Piracetam!

The "1000x times more potent than piracetam" saying is mostly marketing, you certainly won`t get 1000x better results with noopept. The only way wich noopept can be considered more potent than piracetam is it`s active dose wich is around 10-30 mgs and pira`s around 1-5g. But they act in the brain via different mechanims so you really can`t say wich is more potent.

Anyway, people stack them because these substances have a synergism between them, but individual response varies a lot so first start with small doses and play around with these substances before you find what suits you best. Oh, and don`t expect anything from these substances, just try them and see what happens.

Keep in mind also that people react quite different to these substances.

Thanks a lot. I understand that 1000x potency is mostly marketing. But regardless, if Noopept is more potent than Piracetam - it just means Noopept is better version of Piracetam. Why would you take them together? They both are supposed to have same effect (Noopept can just be taken at even smaller dosage)

For eg: you won't take both Adrafinil and Modafinil together when both do the same thing. Modafinil is just a better version of Adrafinil. Adrafinil converts to Modafinil in liver. But you could just directly take Modafinil.

So, why Noopept + Piracetam when Noopept is supposedly better version of Piracetam?

Well adrafinil converts to moda as you know so in the end you get the same thing, same substance AFAIK.

But think of noopept as a redhead and pira as a blonde(or brunette w/e), both gorgeous but not the same and some people might even not like one of them, or both.

More academically speaking, noopept has been shown to increase BDNF, NGF, decrease anxiety and is actually a pro-drug since peptides get cleaved in our GIT.Also noopepts effects aren`t fully researched.

Piracetam on the other hand is a PAM at the AMPA receptors, it also affects the NMDA receptor, improves Ach function and does some things to the mitochondria. Again, even though pira is quite an old substance, research hasn`t revealed 100% its mechanisms of action.

This is though a shallow review of their effects on the brain, and if you`ll dig in to these forums you`ll find much more pretinent information.

I`m just saying this to highlight that these two substances are not really the same.

HTH :-)
