In the group's main page it mentioned that we should introduce ourselves, so I thought that I'd do that here. Anyway, I play the piano. Lately, however, I've been too busy with work and school to make any significant strides, although I do have a couple new pieces in the works. I'd also like to start composing once I get some more free time.

Here's are a couple videos that I made:

The video quality's not the best (not my best performances either), and the piano's out of tune, but I'm planning on upgrading my keyboard soon, so any future videos will be on that. The action of the keyboard that I have right now is too weak to fluidly perform some of the maneuvers.

Well, I look forward to getting to know you guys.

Thanks. Hopefully it won't be too long now. And sorry I missed your reply. I think notifications for this section may be blocked.

It sounds wonderful. I don't think I've ever seen one like that. Is it more geared toward being a piano than a grey box type would be?

I'd love to see some piano metal or piano dubstep type collabs too.

Yeah, it's basically designed to simulate a grand piano, both in sound and action. I've listened to a lot of different keyboards through YouTube and in my opinion the Yamaha P-120 sounds the best. The lower bass notes are especially impressive with that deep, rich sound that's characteristic of a grand.

And as for metal, I used to play some Metallica, but it's been a while. It kinda slipped out of my repertoire over the years, but I may pick it up again in the future. I actually still know the main solo from Nothing Else Matters. It's played in E natural minor.

Very good performance, it sounds familiar. What's the song called?

Unfortunately, I made a mistake at the very end, but I didn't have time for another take because I was rushing to work. Also, I improved the quality a little. I don't think it'll get any clearer now. :)

My first improvisation video:

My repertoire of chords and different patterns that I can pull from is steadily growing, so I'm sure that before too long I'll be able to compose fairly complex pieces very quickly.
