I took 250 mg of phenylpiracetam for 4 or 5 days consecutively for the very first time and it was absolutely wonderful. Everything I've wanted from a stimulant. Very, very large amounts of energy that lasted the entire day. I was wired to put it bluntly. Only needed around 4 or so hours of sleep a night and I was good to go. To help quantify this, I ended up working over 80 hours at work that week, when I reguarly struggle to reach 40. Not only were my energy levels greatly increased but I felt an extraudinary sense of well-being and general happiness. Workout tolerance also improved. I was lifting heaver weight with ease.

Well after that fourth or fifth day I stopped getting an effect entirely. I pretty much crashed which I guess was to be expected. The issue I'm having is that even though I have taken a full week off of dosing, when I return to take 250mg just like I was before, I still am getting zero effect from phenylpiracetam on the stimulant side . I still seem to be getting the nootropic benefit and in particular greatly enhanced sensory perception(most noticeably color vividness). No matter what I do I cannot seem to return to my prior state of stimulant bliss. This racetam seems to have been a one hit wonder for me. I have even tried phenylpiracetam hydrazide but it is the same story. Has anyone had a similiar experience or heard of this happening? Maybe I need to take a much longer period off, to the the tune of a month?

I'd also like to add I have a suspicision this problem isn't strictly related to phenylpiracetam. I have a very strong inkling that my usage of this substance may have resulted in the down regulation of my dopamine receptors or whatevever phenylP has exerted its effects upon. I have been taking oxiracetam which is known to have slight CNS stimulatory effects directly after my phenyl usage to the conclusion that it too exerts zero effect upon my energy levels. I have a feeling that even if I were to abuse cocain or adderall at this moment in time they too would also exert zero effect upon me. Again, completely unsubstantiated but I have a feeling phenylpiracetam's effects may have been greater in scope than a simple tolerance issue.
