Recently I watched a video where a woman explained coffee enemas. She looked really good and healthy.

According to her toxins and all kinds of things build up in the colon over time and you have to do enemas to clean it.

I really have no idea how safe enemas are. I mean can you somehow damage something? I also dont understand why

they use coffee.

This woman did the enema while having a full stomach she obviously ate before.I also don't know if this is safe either.

What I also wonder instead of doing an enema can't you simply drink the coloscopy prep solutions which clean out the colon?

Would this not be much easier than an enema and also remove everything which could have built up in there?

I'm really not sure what to think about this. If I knew that it's safe and really healthy then I'd try them but I'd be scared of causing

damage and then having to go to a doc and confess it this would be really awkward.

Do not do it. Coffee enemas and other nonsense colon cleanse things are actually far more hazardous than helpful. Plain water/saline enemas are okay for irregular use... I think.

The colon is well designed to contain 'toxins' and stuff 'building up'. That's part of its job. You hear the same crap about the liver, except the liver dosn't store toxins like people trying to sell liver cleanses tell you. Most hilarious are the ones telling you how to lose weight with colon cleanses. People think this way because all they know is that the liver filters toxins and the colon aids in processing waste, and feces are nasty.

If you're trying to get your bowels moving, eat more fiber, take some electrolytes, drink water. If you suspect you have a genuine blockage, see a doctor.

Don't mess with colon cleanses, whether enemas or drinks, unless your doctor is involved in some way.

Thanks, I'm glad you asked before buying or worse using one on yourself. It was a smart move :)
