Greetings,

I only just came across the peptide SS-31 a few days ago. I managed to find a couple of fairly impressive abstracts.

Is anyone self-administering it?

I would be prepared to get some made by one of the many peptide synthesisers.

Can anyone confirm that the sequence is:

D-Arg-2',6'-dimethylTyr-Lys-Phe-NH2....?

Thanks,

Can you provide more info about what this compound is supposed to do?

It's a mitochondrially targeted antioxidant. Probably not as good as c60oo, but there's a lot more data on it, and the structure is well defined. If you search pubmed, you should find a lot on it.
