So I've been trying to find out the correct ratio of Omega-3 for brain health for a long time and I still don't know what ratio I need to be supplementing with.
There's so many conflicting studies about the “right” ratios of Omega-3, some articles say that eating raw fish is the best because the Omega-3 gets absorbed better by the body while others say Fish oil is a safer alternative since there’s the risk of mercury in the fish etc. And krill oil recently became available in the market which makes choosing the best source of Omega-3 even more confusing.
I've been taking high DHA Fish oil for over 3 years because this bottle claims that high DHA is essential for brain function: http://www.blackmore...cts/omega-brain
But I've also heard that higher EPA is better for brain health as well as 1:1 ratio is better etc.
