Betaine HCL is much cheaper than anhydrous TMG, but it's extremely acidic, so I have an idea.

Betaine HCL + sodium bicarbonate -> TMG + table salt

Does it works in real life, or there's something I can't see?

Up, no one? This should be interesting question, as many people use methylation protocol and this trick can save some money, quite alot in my country.
