Here is a interesting product. Just heard about it today. Here is a link to an ABC report and at the bottom of link is patent information. I calculated the cost for the product and it comes out to be $50 dollars a month or $40 dollars a month if you are a preferred member. I read the patent and looked up the prices for the individual items separately and it comes to around $23 dollars a month. Does anyone know how they managed to patent this? and wouldn't just taking the stuff separately be the same as taking it in one pill, more or less? They claim that it is better in their one pill.

  • Bacopa extract (these ingredients are according to first patent starting from left of above link)
  • Tumeric extract
  • Green Tea Extract
  • Milk Thistle Extract
  • Gotu Kola Powder
  • Ginkgo Biloba Leaf Extract
  • Aloe Vera Powder
  • Ashwagandha Powder
  • N-acetyl cysteine

Interesting.

Tumeric extract, Milk Thistle, Ginkgo Biloba are known to also be telomerase activators.
Tumeric extract/Curcumin is controversial, but N-acetyl cysteine is known to negate its telomerase blocking effect.
Ginko even has evidence of life extension in rats which everyone seems to be intent on ignoring!?

I will definitely look into this some more: Nrf2 - Telomerase connection?
