Hi, I am new here. I suffer from anemia(Hereditary spherocytosis). Splenectomy helped a little, but I still don't have any energy and I feel fatigue all the time. Also I find it hard to concentrate. I am nervous lately because I need to pass a math exam and if I fail, I will be kick out of university and I will loose my job. So I need something to wake me up, to energize me, to get rid of anxiety... also I know for sure that during the exam my hands will be shaking and I won't be able to focus. Maybe Rhodiola Rosea, Ashwagandha, Ginkgo biloba and Piracetam could help me? What do you think? I don't know really. Yesterday I bought Piracetam because it's in every pharmacy. Thank you for your response.

Edit: Caffeine don't helps me and makes me dizzy

Hi abakuk,

I know it's been a while since you posted, but could you let us know how you're doing on Piracetam?

I am curious because I also suffer from spherocytosis, so I was curious if you went ahead and tried it.

By coincidence I found a publication that talks about sickle cell anemia and piracetam and how it can be help to prevent hemolytic crisis:

http://www.researchg..._disease_crises

I still have to do more research on this, but it's possible that Piracetam may be beneficial for us? Sickle cell anemia sounds awfully similar to what we suffer from.

Best of luck

Take an iron supplement, drink lots of water, and maybe consider theanine or something. Theanine is actually more effective than xanax for preventing anxiety attacks and would probably help with shakes.

Kratom also really helps me with anxiety whenever I take it. It's a lot like caffeine for me but with a nice opiate buzz and less anxiety.
