I have run out of Adderall, and thankfully so. I am going through rough times with my other half, that I indulged too much just to survive the feeling of impending doom. At this point though, I realized that my solution would need to be a cleaner, smoother stimulant. Less euphoria, less cardiovascular effects. So, I turned to armodafinil.

I tried modafinil, and while it worked, it gave me a dull headache and palpitations, even a little anxiety. Armodafinil had none of that for me. I liked it. 75mg, and I had to redose for work. Been up over 50 hours, and I am not feeling too fatigued. I would never survive through this on anything else. Clean, minimal euphoria, longer lasting (around 8-10 hours plateau. I spaced my doses), and no crash.

No heart rate issues, no nausea. Just the laxative effect, and a very smooth, progressive increase in energy, very mild but noticeable well being (I don't want anymore than that), and wakefulness/alertness.

From reading into it, I surmised that tolerance isn't as much of an issue. There is no magic with this, it's just straight to the cream. cycle of 4/3 would be effective? of course, I won't be doing 50 hours frequently, it's just that I am currently having issues in my relationship.

opinions?
how do other atypical stims compare (fluorafanil, fluorenol, pitolisant, bpap)
What about its neuroprotective and anti-oxidant effects? this is primarily why I think it wouldn't be harmful if taken long term

Why is 50 hours of wakefulness necessary to repair your relationship? Sleep deprivation will certainly provide the opposite of your desired effect. For example, side effects of sleep deprivation have been known to set in earlier than 24 hours of no sleep. So you could begin hallucinating or have a mental episode with your significant other nearby, which would likely only damage your relationship further.
