Hello again!
What do you think about galantamine and methylphenidate?
I would like to improve my memory a bit more. I was thinking about taking 4mg of galantamine and my regular dosage of methylhenidate (up to 30mg a day).
Does anyone know if this is safe? Any experience with this?
What really interested me is galantamine nicotinic alfa7 receptor modulation activity...
Hope someone has already tried this combination, thought any input is appreciated

Thanks for your answer, however... is there anything better than methylphenidate for add? I dont think so.

Hi ocean soul,
I've experimented with this combo for such a long time, somehow trying to make it work for me, but I found that the combo caused increased anxiety for me!
I was wondering if you found this combo useful?
I have ordered some huperzine and am hoping that atleast that would stack well with Ritalin.

In my experience, anything that increases acetylcholine reduces the positive effects and induces faster tolerance to Ritalin.

Yes, I have read somewhere about this "opposite" interaction between dopamine and acetylcholine. But I dont understand... inst acetylcholine supposed to be very important for memory? how can then methylphenidate improve memory (as many studies say)?
In regards to methylphenidate tolerance, I dont really know what that is...some poeple say they develop tolerance in 30 days, I have been taking methylphenidate for a year now, and I take the say dosage as for the first time...maybe just 5mg more...
I still havent try galantamine-methylphenidate combination... drugs here in argentina are quite expensive... Once I tried with rivastigmine and I was a waste of many... I felt nothing. But galantamine has this modulation property at nicotinic receptors which makes it very intresting...

thanks for reporting back.
I wonder if galantamine needs to be cycled, as I think tolerance sets in after a while, and most studies involving galantamine increased doses after a month or so to counter this tolerance.
I think taking breaks would be better than increasing doses.
