There is quite few topics in this forum, all is bullshit. People experiencing placebo and writes how they got effects from this scam.

Am using it few weeks already, taking it in bigger than needed amounts, with oils, under my tong. It have 0 effect. It just DOESN'T WORK. If you wanna waste money on placebo -you can, but better buy vitamin c will be better for you.

Russians doesn't even prolonged their patent on this, because it just doesn't work.

Who knows how it will effect people in bad way. So i recommend buy vitamin c - better.

Don't listen to people who says it works, it doesn't. They just too much wants effects and brain gives them the lie of effect. It Doesn't improve language, it doesn't improve memory. Just tastes bad and that's it.

Oils? Why would you take noopept with oil? Every response that I've read was taken with a protein source. Something like peanut butter.

Doesn't work for me either, but I am not so arrogant as to presume that therefore everyone else must be deluded.

It's an odd thing, but after a few days of dosing your dreams increase with clear recall. Studying sticks a little more. I don't use it to replace a racetam or anything else, it's just a BDNF enhancer to me. I eat really well, exercise, study, and sleep a long time on it, and I have to say, I feel like things "click" with less effort. I can get a little irritable on over 10mg though, but its barely noticeable and only lasts a couple hours while I'm working and don't want to be distracted. Microdosing Selank 50-125mcg fixed that and gave me a bit more clarity and calm focus. P21 does much more in general in addition to BDNF enhancement but the combination of the 2 (or even 3) will work quite effectively. It does make you NEED to sleep well though. Those dreams are your mind adding repairing and removing neural connections in the hippocampus where memories are stored and connecting them to the cerebellum where your motor functions are coordinated.

Noopept definitely has a physical effect on me that goes beyond a placebo effect. Specifically, visual and auditory sensitivity significantly increases ... Colors become extremely vivid, the volume of sounds very high (to the extent what used to be background noises start to bother me, and loud noises, like large vehicles, actually hurt my ears). So in my experience, there's no denying it is having a real physical effect.

But whether it actually improves memory or intelligence or mood, at least in my own experience, not having any serious disease like dementia to start with, it does not seem to significantly enhance normal cognitive ability in the long term.

It's prescribed as medicine for diseases like dementia, after all, and given the very real physical effects I feel when I take it, I can believe it would be efficacious in improving some cognitive function in those suffering from existing conditions.

I forgot to mention, my sense of smell was also significantly enhanced. After Noopept supplementation, I could smell very faint and subtle odors which no one else around me noticed, which I had never noticed before. This is particularly significant for me, because my sense of smell had never been good. Indeed, by my age, my dad had lost his sense of smell entirely, so it may be due to something genetic in my family.

Yes it is best contribution. Why only "OMG IT WORKS" topics can be here? There is GAZILLION nootropics out there doing NOTHING. People buying that crap.

Nneeoo - i looked at russian tablet ingredients it's have only inactive parts + the main ingredient so it isnt somehow special. And i have good quality stuff. ive seen COA document.  Am taking about 50mg per day.

redFishBlueFish  - am taking it with fats (real good butter from cow's milk, we here don't eat that american crap you call peanut butter) just because to avoid people who will say-"u must take it with oils". Infact you DONT have to take it with anything!! In russian tablets there is no proteins, there is no fats, only carbs and it's used as a filler, to make tablet bigger.

People who talks about better smell-i always had good smell, good ears, not bad brain.

People who says it influences dreams - they can remember them - THIS IS BAD. There is only one way how people remembers dreams -they have to wake up at particular sleep stage (don't know which one, maybe in REM). So you having worsen sleep. People Shouldn't remember their dreams, they weren't made to be remembered, most of them is nightmares, bad ones. When people remember dreams-they feel worser that day then when they dont, this indicates worsen sleep.

Please do an experiment - all of you who believes in these effects - just try to denied them. Find explanation for them, say to yourself that you making this up. believe me-your effects will gone soon.

PS what taste is your noopepts? maybe i really have bad one. Mine bitter like grapefruit. Have sweet, cat's pee like, honey, smell.

Oh godd thos epeople funny, either you have brain problems and it helps either it's a placebo.

There is no single study on humans or animals who were healthy to show any positive effects. Had positive effects on damaged mouses.

People talking about better smell sense -it just nonsense. how noopept increased smell receptors count? You all just denying it because you want to believe it works. This is just like stupid religion people wants to believe in some fairy tale creatures to feel better..and believes no matter that there is no single evidence of it.

The attitude is often  more religious than scientific.

Tell the truth and people will hate you.

Judging by your contributions, tommix, what you need is not a nootropic, but some drug can can make you less bigoted.

Well, I gotta say I first tried noopept in powder form, from intellimeds, which had exactly the smell and taste that tommix describes, and I did feel a lot of effects in terms of anxyolisis, mood brightenning and general awareness. Which only lasted a day. Over the first week I progressively increased the dosage to somewhere close to 25mg (might have been way more, i don't trust my scale with such minute amounts) twice a day and got over-stimulated and paranoid. So left the noopept for a while and upon resumption I never experienced any of those effects (good or bad) and I eventually ditched it.

At present I am using the real noopept in tablet form, taking no more than 30mg a day, and I can say although very mild in effects, this product is legit, but let's face it, if you are under 40 years old and don't suffer from any inflammation/ischemic trauma/depression or other cognitive deficit, you sure won't feel much from it.

I think it is probably a good prophylactic against Amyloid Beta deposit, and general cognitive decline: http://www.ncbi.nlm....pubmed/25096780

Also I use 20mg an hour before i start drinking and it seems to protect my brain to a certain extent against alcohol damage.
