Breaking news today wnt pathway has gone wrong in Alzheimer's. This suppresses signalling. Lower doses of LRP6 leads to a toxic build up of amyloid and prevents neurons speaking to each other. Mice without LRP6 have impaired wnt signalling, cognitive impairment, Neuro inflammation and excess amyloid.
Identifying small molecule compounds to restore LRP6. and the wnt pathway may help treat Alzheimer's. The interplay between palmitolaytion and ubiquibination is also necessary for effective wnt signalling.
GSK inhibitors can be helpful. Peripheral injection of the camp inhibitor Foskolin restored some function in mice.
Defective wnt signalling resulting from loss of LRP6 causes dendritic spines and synapses to degenerate, thereby impairing communications among 1a in the brain.
B complex vitamins may also slow the progression.
Does anyone know where the small molecule compounds can be purchased at a reasonable price? They would seem to be the answer.
There is something else 4-ethyl-5-methyl-5,6-dihydro-(13)dioxide(4-5j)phenanthridine(HLY78)as an activator of wnt/catenin signalling pathway which acts in a wnt ligand dependant manner1

Given the above is there anything cheap that I could do to increase the wnt pathway and LRP6 now? Do yu know of anything. It might save my life.

WNT signalling is also antagonised Dickkopf-1.
L-threonate represses the glycoprotein dickkopf-1.
