I've just started taking modafinil regularly and have noticed that although I can feel my stomach empty and crowling, I don't care about it at all. I am able to force myself to eat if I want to, but don't have to. For the past week I've been fine on getting by with only one meal a day (dinner).

Considering the research in primates of CR increasing lifespan by something like 30%, would it be advisable to keep this pattern on-going long-term, only eating one meal a day? It sounds in theory to be good but I can't help but imagine all the starving children in the world wasting away and dieing where CR didn't work out so well for them.

Thoughts?

I'm pretty sure that no one has seen a 30% life extension in primates.  Maybe you're thinking about mice.    CR isn't starvation.  People doing real CR make a point of getting all the nutrients they need, which starving people are not able to do.

Could you recommend a source for any outline or plan with the necessary nutrients?

Www.livingthecrway.com is a pretty good site for CR. You must remember the optimal nutrition part, which may be even more important than the CR part itself.
