Does anyone know any good tricks of teeth whitening? besides the usual citric acid (lemon juice) with baking soda and salt?

Thanks!

A quality electric toothbrush along with plaque-coloration-pills is a good first step. After that google is your friend, there are a million "grandma-fixes", brushing with turmeric, brushing with strawberries, brushing with cigarette-ash. Most of them will give you a better color by gradually removing your enamel, which you don't want. The safest way is to get a personalized bitestrip and buy a quality whitening product from a dentist.

Well what about teeth polishing technique? and if you wanna go natural try this. I remembered reading about the banana peels. As i am a natural remedy lover I used for one week and result was quite convincing. After eating bananas don't throw peals and use them to clean teeth. their natural ingredients  are potassium, magnesium and manganese which helps teeth to get white. I think you should try by yourself.

Baking Soda (about 1 teaspoon)

That is basically 3 ingredients with very high Relative Dentine Abrasivity index. Her friend will continue to have white teeth until her supply of enamel is completely removed, then her Dentin will come out of the dark and that gunk is yellow. Get a good bleaching treatment with individually fitted trays and an electric toothbrush to keep stains away before you remove your own enamel.

Here is what dentin/root dentin can look like when exposed via erosion and traumatic brushing

Some countries hold high standard overall, like Thailand. In every country it's possible to find some clown who will do cheap work that will not last. I have seen plenty of x-rays of supposedly Root-canaled teeth that contained no root-canal for instance!

The most common problem is that many dentists around the world don't give a **** about creating approximal/gingival spaces needed for proper oral hygiene. This results in periodontal lesions that are impossible to treat because they are impossible to reach, without removing the construction. To be fair with these dentists, this problem is partially also caused by the patients demand for something that looks good, that is they want stuff that can not be perceived to be constructed, so they jam the crown down against the gum and leave no space to the neighboring teeth.

Thank you CosmicalStorm you're very informative are you a dentist? It's just it seems to be cheaper to get things done abroad rather here in the US... However what countries would you rate t be very high in standards in regards to dental cosmetics? That one girl went to Ezmere, Turkey and hers were beautiful!!! For just 1000 Euros... So cheap!

Thanks for all your advice!

I did a little research into the topic of medical dental tourism and I'm thinking about either costa rica or dominican republic.

There are a few places in mexico where you can get a flight to TX and drive for a couple hours across the border to get there. The main place I was finding was juarez, which is a place I would rather not go.

You need to get a panaramic scan or ETC scans and send them to where you're planning on going. Get proper quotes and a regimen/schedule on how things would go when you get there (trips/visits/ETC).
Most post prices on their sites though and some will give you a $$$ range through email since you can't make a visit.

Just be aware that you could be up for 2 trips depending on what you want to get done. Things have to set and molds/ETC in some cases can't be done in-house.
So you might be spending more w/ those flight miles when doing a trip or more to turkey. Turkey is stunning though from what I see.

Just make sure you research accreditations/reviews/language barrier locally and with the doctors/ETC. If you're friends teeth look good, then you might just opt for going to the place she got them done since you would be more comfortable about getting foreign work done.
