Brittany Maynard is dying of brain cancer. She's decided to have control over her life as her condition is terminal. This is great. No one should have to suffer. I just wish she'd think about and get cryonics.

Brittany Maynard:

The second video said, that she "met her goal" by raising 45 000 dollars. How much does it cost to be cryopreserved?

Kim was cryopreserved. Her preservation was $80k with Alcor. The $45k goal was for preservation and transportation to the Cryonics Institute. They offer services starting at ~ $29,250 and then there was an extra $15k for transportation costs.

Check this thread for more discussion on the potential cost of cryonics.
