I cant seem to post in some sub forums so I'll just post here....mods move if you see fit...

Wondering about others experience when travelling with noots. I'll be going to thailand and i just got a shipment of stuff i plan to keep unopened....but its in those foil bags and labeled as if its something I shouldnt be consuming.

basic stuff like alcar, theanine inositol and racetams.....but i imagine to thai customs they'd be alll wtf is going on here. pretty sure nothing is illegal.

any ideas to keep problems to a minimum? im thinking ill take all the questionable stuff on my carrry-on and put fish oils, b vits etc in my checked luggage in case they open when im not there they should be able to figure out.

im allowed 30 days supply and illl be pushing that limit for everythying i take with me - ie 30 days max dose may be 90 days for me. its going to look like a shitload of powders in sketchy packaging

Why don't you contact the customs authority of Thailand? Maybe even canadian customs can give you some advice.

Do NOT travel to Thailand with little bags of white powder. Absolutely not. Unless you fancy being held in a police cell while the bags are being tested at a laboratory, which could take a week or so, and then there's no guarantee you'd get an objective result. Sorry, but it's just too risky. The most I would risk would be tablets or perhaps capsules, in a commercial-looking medicine bottle. But little foil bags of white powder is a big no-no for travelling anywhere where there is the slightest suspicion that foreigners are out to do or traffic drugs.

How about little bottles of oil/water, like C60 or tinctures? Herbal powders? weird stuff like shilajit?

they would be sealed foil bags in their original packaging. I could have receipts printed from the US companies I bought them from...

things like magnesium, alcar, inositol, aniracetam, oxiracetam are in foil bags. I also have vitamins and a few other supplements in pill form.

Aside from the specific contents, I'm wondering the likelihood of actually having bags searched. does customs scan all checked bags - ie before it hits the carousel? i'm pretty sure there is no scanning after that unless they have suspicion...
